  • It is a local grassroots organization founded to improve the support networks available to LGBTQ+ folks in the valley.
  • We help people feel less alone in making the Valley more inclusive for LGBTQ+ folks.
  • The Cache LGBTQ+ Collective cultivates a sustainable network of support for LGBTQ+ folks to ensure everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.
  • We’re a community-based organization led by a group of community advocates called Stewards, each providing stewardship to an area necessary to help the organization be effective.
  • The Collective as a whole:
    • Create, strengthen, or spread the word about safe third spaces
    • Provide time and space for open community collaboration and feedback
    • Make resources easily accessible and sharing knowledge
    • Raise money and allocate funding to benefit the LGBTQ+ community, especially other local LGBTQ+ organizations doing meaningful work
    • Build collaborative partnerships
    • Community organizing
    • Increase connection between and among community members
  • Back to School Fair in 2024: provided school supplies and LGBTQ+ resources to LGBTQ+ youth in the community
  • Developed and distributed resources about reporting bullying in Cache Valley schools, effective allyship, safety resources for LGBTQ+ youth, and educational resources for parents and allies
  • Developed regular social hours to establish a safe social environment to meet up with other Collective members and enjoy a meal together (last Tuesday of each month!)
  • Community Art Fair in 2025: gathered community members for an art show with queer artists and lgbtq+ affirming organizations to support the local art community and their work
  • We accept donations which go to:
    • directly supporting LGBTQ+ affirming organizations
    • developing and distributing resources and education
    • the development of a sustainable community network of support
    • putting community advocacy goals into action
    • spreading awareness of existing resources and supports

Nope! We want to make it as easy as possible for folks to access our resources and information.

That being said, we do a simple question-based vetting process in some of our more private spaces (like the Discord and our Facebook Group) to protect folks’ safety.

  • Because you bring your unique experiences and skills to the community, and can put it into action with us!
  • Because you matter and the Collective is a great way to be reminded about that
  • Have a safe space to go at least once a month
  • Learn about volunteer opportunities in the valley and get engaged
  • Share your perspectives about how the community is doing and what you think could change
  • Make new friends and develop a stronger sense of belonging (especially at our social hour!)
  • Share knowledge and information that could benefit other folks
  • Learn new things from community members and advocates
  • Find out about upcoming events
  • Present ideas about potential areas of collaboration
  • Plan and run events (like our art event, a concert, Pride events, parties, resource fairs, supply drives, etc.)
  • Work with like-minded folks on independent projects or collaborative projects
  • Stay up to date about current events and how that impacts people in Cache Valley
  • Learn about small and big ways you can make a difference as an individual
  • Get connected to the vast network of support that exists in the Valley
  • We have an Instagram page, a Facebook page, a website, a private Facebook page, an email newsletter, and a Discord channel.
  • You can also join us on the last Tuesday of every month at 6pm for our social hour and dinner and 7pm for our community meeting!

We meet on the last Tuesday of every month, at the Pride House. Social Hour begins at 6 PM, where we share a dinner, and the organizing meeting begins at 7 PM.
